Theme For 2024
The theme for the 2024 Daffodil Festival is "Everything's Coming Up Daffodils". Once Spring is here there is no better sight than seeing the different shades blooming all over the county!

Wow the Daffodil Festival has been happening for 37 years! This festival is held along Main Street in Gloucester County, Virginia. The festival consists of hundreds of vendors, delicious food, performances & shows, and so much more! This is an event for the entire family!

The 2023 Daffodil Festival brought in over 15,000 visitors & residents & over 250 vendors for just a one day event! The risk of dangerous high winds caused the Saturday festivities to be cancelled/moved to Sunday. The weather was beautiful and we were so happy to see everyone! Throughout the years the festival has grown and become an event everyone looks forward to as soon as the current year is over.

Gloucester County strives to take steps to ensure that green practices are in place to minimize the festival's impacts on the environment. Our festival for 2022 met the Virginia Green program's core requirements for Green Events. Requirements included recycling of plastic, aluminum, paper and cardboard; eliminating polystyrene; green team of volunteers to assist in effective recycling on-site; collection of cigarette butts through Keep VA Beautiful/Terracycle, and instructional signage on recycling and outreach to the public about green practices.
