About The Artist
Georgia graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2011 with a BA in Studio Art, but has spent most of her life drawing and creating in some form or fashion. She has recently focused her efforts on acrylic painting, which has been a most convenient medium for her busy life as a single mom. Her work has been shown in exhibitions around the Tidewater area, including recently winning first place in the 2022 Small Works Exhibition at the Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center. Georgia hopes to continue her study by entering a low residency MFA program in the next few years.
